Conference for Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals in the Tech Sector

WOMAN 2024 is the 15th edition of our annual event, being a celebration focused on creating synergies between women in the Tech sector and inspiring and strengthening connections and projects.

This year, we are pleased to collaborate with Som DONES, a platform dedicated to highlighting the female talent in Catalonia, specifically in the Tech sector, where the gender gap and the low representation of women is a problem to address and solve.

A special thank you to Grupo Damm y Barcelona Tech for their collaboration in the organization and content of this day.

We will have the participation of outstanding speakers such as:

   Laura Gil, Director of Digital Transformation at DAMM, who will share her experience at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence.

   Mónica Espinosa, Director of the Catalonian Cybersecurity Agency of the Generalitat of Catalonia, will offer crucial perspectives on cybersecurity and innovation.

   Anna Pujol, Director and Founder of Som Dones, who will share her inspiring vision on the role of tech women.

   Marta Oms , Founder od Moms comunicación and toast master from Getting Contacts, expert in marketing, advertising and communication, will facilitate meaningful connections during the event.

This event celebrates our past achievements and builds a path toward a more equitable future in technology. We invite you to be part of WOMAN 2024, where together we shape the inclusive future of women in technology.

ESSENTIAL DATA:

· Date: March 7th, A day before International Women’s Day. -9:30 to 13h –

· Place: Espai DAMM in Barcelona Tech City (Pier01 above the Museu d’Història de Catalunya in Port/Moll de la fusta).

· Capacity/Attendance forecast: 50/60 maximum people.

· Aimed at: Professionals in the technology sector, including engineers, digital transformation experts, R&D&I, digital marketing, AI, robotics, quality systems, etc.

· We’ll give you a personal agenda per company and a list of participating companies.

PROGRAM:

10:00 a.m.: Reception and accreditation (Welcome coffee).

10.30 a.m.: Networking presentation by Marta Oms Gettingcontacts’ toast master.

10.35 a.m.: Welcome by Anna Pujol, director and founder of Som Dones.

10:45 a.m.: Inspirational speech by Laura Gil, Director of Digital Transformation at DAMM on AI.

11:00 a.m.: Inspirational speech by Mónica Espinosa, Director of the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

11:15 a.m.: Dynamic explanation of networking.

11:20 a.m.: Networking through meeting agenda.

12:30 p.m.: Closing and informal networking with refreshments courtesy of DAMM.

1:00 p.m.: Closing of the event.
