Barcelona, 3–6 March 2025 – Gettingcontacts has once again taken part in a new edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), reaffirming its commitment to professional networking, innovation, and connecting companies, startups and leaders from the global technology ecosystem.
MWC 2025 welcomed 109,000 attendees and nearly 2,900 exhibitors, consolidating its position as one of the most influential technology events worldwide. The estimated economic impact has reached between €540 and €550 million, surpassing the €500 million threshold reached in 2024 for the first time.
Throughout the congress, it was evident how applied artificial intelligence has been integrated across devices, platforms and solutions, driving improvements in efficiency, productivity, healthcare, caregiving, industrial technology and biotechnology.
Public-private collaboration was especially visible through partnerships with AEBALL Salut, Capital Cell, Sinergia, Barcelona Tech, Gentic, EAE Business School and the Port of Barcelona.

With a proven methodology tailored to the new digital economy, the platform formed part of the framework enabling over one million meetings and professional connections to take place in just four days.
This edition reinforces MWC not only as a technology fair, but as one of the world’s most powerful engines of networking and innovation.
